In-memory

Data security

Account access

To create an account on In-memory we ask you for a login – your email address – and a 20-character password.

There is a two-factor authentification system when you create your account : we send you a link by e-mail, so that you can confirm your address and validate your account.

Once your account has been validated, you will be asked to create your personal 4-digit PIN code using a double validation system.

The PIN code is not visible when you enter it, for reasons of security and confidentiality.

The PIN code is very important and confidential, and the app will ask you it every time you log on to In-memory. Never give out your PIN!

You can modify it by going to your Profile > Modify, and we’ll ask you for confirmation by email to make sure it’s really your request. Then connect to the application by validating your new PIN code 2 twice.

In conjunction with the PIN code, there’s an additional security feature in place for session duration: if no activity is recorded on the application for one minute, or if you go to another application, you’ll be automatically logged out of the application, and we’ll ask you for your PIN code again when you return to the In-memory application.

Data transit

When you add a message with or without attachments to In-memory, they are automatically and immediately encrypted in their entirety, end-to-end, on our secure SS servers using a double-key system.

Data storage

Your data is encrypted as soon as it arrives on our servers based in France, by a system of double encryption keys stored on your device and on a different SS secure server. This means that even a flaw in one of the servers would only allow the recovery of completely encrypted and indecipherable information

In-memory teams have absolutely no way of accessing your encrypted information.

Data accessibility

Only the account user can access data.

In-memory teams have absolutely no access to your encrypted information.

In-memory account deletion data

If you decide to delete your In-memory account, you can delete all messages with all attachments, all your confidants and contacts in the application.

Your personal data – e-mail and personal information – will be deleted within the time limits imposed by legal retention obligations.

Data after dispatch to recipients of In-memory account messages

As confirmed by your entrusted parties, upon your death only, all your messages will be sent individually to the recipients or group of recipients of your account according to your date instructions. Your personal data – email and personal information – will be deleted within the time limits imposed by legal retention obligations as soon as the application service ends.
